Do you ever wonder if there are more memes circulating on the internet than there are human beings currently living? There must be, right? If even just a quarter of the world's population. A quick and lazy Google search just told me that there are apparently about 750 billion images on the internet right now, and up to 3 billion images are shared daily. There are approximately 8 billion human beings on earth, and so only like 1% of those 750 billion images would have to be memes. And this is the internet we're talking about here, so you know memes must make up at least half that number. So we've solved it then. There are more memes circulating on the internet than there are human beings currently living on planet earth today. Let that sink in.
